MESOPOTAMIAN TUNES AND LULLABIES
Mâh Duo are Duygu Alkan(voice) and Khorsid Dadbeh (tar, setar). They met at Codarts University in Rotterdam during their master studies. Their passion for music brew the idea of creating combining the sound of the voice with tar and setar. They have performed in various theaters and festivals. Mâh Duo experiments with the music colors of Mesopotamian tunes and lullabies. Both of them bring unique color and touch to the sound of the duet. Mâh Duo attempts to bring all these elements on stage by sharing the common sound of voice and tar/setar.
